Meet my other cat - Mungo.  Unfortunately I don't live with Mungo any more, but she's still theoretically my cat.  Thankfully my mum looks after her for me!  I'd love to have Mungo come live with me but:
1 - I'm pretty sure Tizer would beat her up, and
2 - Mungo hates travelling BIG TIME.

Mungo has to be the most nervous cat I've ever met, and yet she hasn't been mistreated or anything - we got her straight from her mother at a few months old.  She never used to hunt anything bigger than a daddy-long-legs and we were sure she would run away from anything as big as a mouse or a bird.  But apparently recently she's turned over a new leaf and started carting the local fauna into the house for mum to admire.  She's most impressed, as you can imagine...

As a young cat Mungo loved being high up, and she was expert at getting there... on the top shelf of the wardrobe, on top of the bookcase, or sitting on the banister at the top of the stairs.  Once she even demanded entry to the house through a second floor window!  (Don't ask how she got there).  And once when she was "lost" as a kitten she was found about 6 feet up between the curtains and the curtain lining, hanging on by her claws, convinced she was invisible ;-)

By the way, these photos are both from 2002, and she was born in 1990... but still seems to think she's a kitten, and nobody believes me when I tell them how old she is!
Tizer has graciously agreed to share his (web) space with Mungo.  Visit Tizer here.
Aww, cute ;-)
Oh, the name?  Well you know Cats, the musical?  Or Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by TS Eliot?  Remember Mungojerry and Rumpleteazer?  She used to tumble about just like them, and I refused to name her after Rumpleteazer because Bonnie Langford played her in the first stage version of Cats... well nobody said there had to be a logical reason!
Keen hunter... but not very successful!
