Special Strengths: Extremely powerful sorceress, Very knowledgeable about secrets of magic, can summon power from the Lord of Nightmares. Quirks: Eats in large quatities, Very picky about her figure Dreams and/or Goals: To become the greatest sorceress the world has ever known, to get lots of money, to get Gourry's Sword of Light. Signature Phrase: Fireball, Dragon Slave... Weapon of Preference: Sword Physical Appearance: Personality: Smart, but highly impulsive. She gets highly aggrivated at people who make mention of her state of underdevelopment (i.e. her small breast size), and will tend to fry them on spot if they do so. The nickname of dragon spooker doesn't go well with her either. Background Information: Born in Zefielia, which is famous for its wine making. She and her older sister Luna became sorceresses, and Luna put Lina through a variety of horrible torturous exercises. In her early career, Lina travelled with Naga, "the White Serpent," (OAV series and movies), and later she met up with Gourry and the rest of the gang (TV Series). Race: Human

Race: Human / Golem / Demon Age: 18 at the start of the TV series; by now he should be in his early 20's. Stats: Affiliation: Hero Likes: Any source of information that leads him to a cure for his monstrous appearance. Dislikes: His body's looks; being ignored; being teased.
Special Strengths: Powerful magic user and very apt swordsman. Stone skin makes him immune to normal weapons. Quirks: Very serious most of the time; hates his body; tends to walk off when in a hurry. Dreams and/or Goals: To find a cure which will change him back into a normal human. Signature Phrase: "Damn you, Rezo!" Any other phrase where he mentions his distaste for his body, or that it is his mission and no one else's. Weapon of Preference: Sword Physical Appearance: Personality: Smart, collected and thoughtful. Zel will work for anyone as long as they don't betray him... and as long as he thinks they can help him find a cure. He will generally stay away from those who seek to spread evil, though. Background Information: It's not known where he was born, or where any surviving family members might be, but he is the grandson of Rezo, the Red Priest, who gave him the chimera body he currently has. He met up with Lina in Episode 3, and then joined her in Episode 5 of the original TV series. Race: Golden Dragon Stats:

Likes: Negative Emotions. Magic: Like all Mazoku, Xellos doesn't have magical powers (i.e. black, white, shamanic). He uses his personal energy as a "magic" power. Special Strengths: Very smart. Special Weaknesses: Can't stand things to be overly happy. Quirks: Always disappearing, always saying "That is a secret!" Dreams and/or Goals: Ridding the world of Dragons. Weapon of Preference: Staff with a red jewel in it. Physical Appearance: Personality: Xellos is somewhat care-free. He comes and goes as he pleases, but he can also be very serious when he needs to be. He also has the tendency not to tell everything to the company he is traveling with, which makes him highly annoying. Background Information: Little is known about Xellos's background. He is around 1000 yrs old and is Zelas Metallium's Priest and General (though he goes around as a Priest most often.) He's probably best well known for single-handedly destroying most of the Golden Dragons during the war of the Fall of Shabranigdo. After the war, he received the Demon Blood stones from the great mage Lei Magnus for the 'good' that he had done. He wore the stones when he first met Lina and the gang so that he could use normal magic (Mazoku don't use magic.) He sold the stones to Lina at her insistence after she saw how they worked. He seems to have a secret agenda with his master, Zelas Metallium the Beastmaster, one of the Mazoku Lords, and would never go against her wishes. Alias: Princess Amelia, Ally of Justice
Stats: Age: 14 at the start of the TV series; by now she should be in her late teens.
Likes: Justice and the pursuit of justice, her father Prince Philionel, and all that is good and righteous. Dislikes: Evildoers, and when Lina steals and blows up things. Strengths: Amelia will fight anything or anyone in her pursuit of justice. She has her own boost spell, Visfarank, which is like a magical boxing glove of power. Weaknesses: She's, well, a serious klutz, only rivalled throughout the entire series by Martina. She sometimes lets the bad guys sneak away as she makes her hour-long speech about justice to them. Quirks: She always climbs to the top of the highest thing she can find to make a flashy entrance. Her justice speeches can be rather annoying at times... as can she. She's always trying to push Lina to do what is right, as opposed to what's most convenient. Dreams, Goals: She wants to become a true champion of justice... using Lina as her shining example for some reason unbeknownst to all. Signature Phrase: "As a true Champion of Justice, I will stop you from committing your evil crimes!" Weapon of Choice: Fists. Physical Appearance: Personality: Always ambitious when it comes to fighting evil, and not easily discouraged from whatever it is she's up against. But her idealism can be annoying to her companions. Background: Amelia is one of the princesses of Seyruun, and first ran into Gourry while searching for her father Prince Phil... only to find Phil had run into Lina first. In the end, they all ended up heading back for Seyruun together, to collect Lina's reward. Ever since, Amelia's just sort of tagged along with the group.
