Appearance: Usually looks like he is well kept, with his half-golem side showing itself. This is obvious to anyone who sees it, as parts of his body are a mix of skin and rock. Hair is straight, parted on the left side of his head. He looks perfectly fine during the day, but early morning is a completely different story....

Mode of Dress: Wears black pants with a dark blue short-sleeved shirt. Over this he wears a gray cloak, which covers most of his body. Along his waist is a black strap which holds his sword and its sheath close to his body.

Distinguishing Features: Golem appearance, and a scar on his right shoulder that looks like it is from some sort of magic burn. Touching this scar doesn't really do anything, but Alexander absolutely HATES to be burned there.

Weapon of Choice: A sword with a silver hilt and dark blue gem embedded in it. The blade itself is long and a bit thinner then most sword blades, but it is still sturdy.

Personality: Alexander is mostly kind hearted, and will give someone a chance before completely dismissing them for their actions. He takes his work as an independent somewhat seriously, but sometimes he can forget mission objectives or procrastinate for too long. That is why he usually requests a list of objectives when hired. His most hated and feared enemy is... undersleeping. Wake him before he has at least eight hours of sleep and prepare for the worst, and I'm serious. He almost burned down an inn once when someone accidentally knocked on his door and woke him. Then there was that time at a magic academy, and the time with the noisy next door neighbors when he bought a house for two weeks, and then that other time when a Ra-Tilt got involved, and....

Likes: Sarcasm, laughter, a good book (which he never needs to read again, because he can recite every page almost word-for-word), a friend by his side, choosing his destiny, meat, a nice long nap (10-12 hours), getting paid for doing something right.

Dislikes: Getting frustrated, manipulative people, vegetables, ONIONS, getting woken up instead of waking up himself, not being able to remember something even though he knows it, not getting paid for a job because he forgot an objective (which is worst when he forgets the main objective)

Goals: To become a "Pioneer of his own destiny, flowing against fate."

Background: Alexander was born in a small highland town. He grew up a normal human, with some slight training in swordsmanship while he was young. At age 9 he asked his older sister to teach him magic, and she began by showing him little tricks. At 11 he decided he was sick of learning tricks, and had his sister enroll him in a small magic school in a nearby city as well as have his father teach him how to really use a sword. He took Shamanist classes and learned quickly. Swordsmanship came slower to him though, but he was still able to learn enough to defend himself.

Upon reaching the age of 15, Alexander became very interested in the higher powers of Shamanism. While he was researching he fell upon information about Chimeras. Wanting nothing to do with these creatures, he stopped researching and decided to adventure for himself to learn more in the ways of Shamanism.

Unfortunately, one day one of his spells went awry when he used the wrong incantation. The Chimera's he attempted to avoid came back and bit him in the rear, as he was turned partially Golem. At first he found this form extremely unbearable, but he has gotten used to it (he doesn't really have a choice, since there is no cure for being a Chimera... yet). During his travels he expanded his knowledge to include Black Magic, but really only uses it to compliment his Shamanism. Now he is looking for work, food, and anything else that comes along with it.
