Underworld Evolution

So continues the saga of war between Vampires and Lycans (Werewolves) in an attempt to seek the truth. Starring Kate Beckinsale, a werewolf-slaying vampire called Selene whom holds the secret to save our future that only her blood will tell.

Underworld: 2 did a fantastic job in continuing the sequel. As the first movie took place over a couple of nights this one picked up right where it left off and continued for another couple of nights.

This film, darker than the original answered the many questions that arose in the first movie and so completing the circle. Not only did the special effects and the fight scenes offer the same or more excitement than the first, but also the thirsts for blood certainly made you gasp.

Underworld: 2 is as good as it gets, providing a sequel like no other, vowing to release an unimaginable evil. A hybrid if you like of feminism and comic book fun screaming violence.

If you're an established fan, this is a must-see movie; if not, well... at least it's better than Van Helsing! --
