Giles came from a family of watchers - his Father and Grandmother were watchers. Giles was told at the age of ten he would have to enrole as a watcher. As a youth he rebelled against this and dropped out of Oxford University, and dabbled in the occult. He can also play the guitar and speaks five languages. He also Fences, and used to be Buffys watcher, until he was sacked and she refused to let Wesley be her watcher. Giles has been Buffys main source of discovering vital infomation such as weak points and how to destroy many of her enemies. |
