| Mother- Joyce Summers RIP Father- Hank Summers Younger Sister- Dawn Summers? Buffy Anne Summers was born in 1981. Her mother was Joyce Summers, and her father is Hank Summers. Buffy started at Hemery High School, Los Angeles, in the autumn of 1995.In 1996, she was elected the equivalent of 'May Queen', and told by a Watcher, named Merrick, that she was The Chosen One, The Slayer. Buffy did not want to accept this role at the beginning. Shortly after, Merrick was killed, and Buffy burned down the school building. In the same year, Hank and Joyce finalised their divorce. Joyce got custody of Buffy, and, together they moved to 1630 Revello Drive, Sunnydale, California. Joyce opened her own art gallery, and Buffy enrolled in Sunnydale High School. Buffy thought that she had escaped her role as The Slayer, but she was mistaken. On the first day of school, Rupert Giles, the school librarian, introduced himself to Buffy as her new Watcher. Buffy reluctantly took on her duties as The Slayer, but accepted her position nonetheless. In the first Season, Buffy met Angel, a vampire with a soul, with whom she later had a relationship (starting during Season one). At the end of the first Season, Buffy was killed by drowning at the hands of the Master. She was brought back to life by her friend Xander Harris. She then proceeded in 'killing' the Master. |
