| Grew up in Edmonds, Washington, with twin younger sisters. Graduated from Edmonds-Woodway High School and Washington State University, with a BA in Management Information Systems. Received a job offer as a software developer and followed it to Denver, Colorado. |

| Grew up in the Seattle area with one younger sister. Graduated from Mercer Island High School and Washington State Unversity with a BS in Environmental Science. Moved to Colorado in July 2001, currently working at an Environmental firm. |

| HOW WE MET |
| We met through friends, and really started dating and getting more serious over a long distance. |

| HOW IT HAPPENED |
| Matt surprised me one Friday afternoon by picking me up from work and taking me to Aspen for the weekend. It was absolutely beautiful there, a perfect place to get away! He planned so well, never giving away the surprise. After a long day of looking at shops and things and having a wonderful dinner, he took me on an evening walk and popped the question. He was so great, I couldn't have asked for a better proposal! |

We will be having a traditional Catholic ceremony with a reception on the Seattle waterfront after. Dress is semi-formal/casual.
