Went to Lyon's Den last night. Milkplow was playing. I really like them. It's a nice change of pace. They pull a great set. With hip-hop, reggae, and indian flavorings mixed with some heavy rock. It's good stuff. The weak part was the short accoustic session mid-set. It wasn't that it was bad. They just kind of disappeared off the stage. They just sat down, I think. This was the third time I've seen Milkplow and this was by far their weakest gig. Not to say it wasn't good because it was. Maybe I've just grown accustom to their outstanding performances. And it always happens that there's some really tall asshole with a group of his friends. They're not there to enjoy some music. Just to get drunk and shout and just be pricks in general. They're the kind of people who would be just as happy at someone's house listening to shit like creed, matchbox 20, and third eye blind. Distracting bitches.
