Some Descendants of Samuel Cross, Innkeeper & Planter of Charleston District, South Carolina
Samuel Cross married Susannah Presbury in Harford District, Maryland in 1765. An innkeeper in the Baltimore area he sold his interests and moved his family to South Carolina (pre Revolutionary War), purchasing a tavern in Charleston, and establishing a plantation near what is now Santee. The descendants of his four sons migrated to Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma & Mexico.
Today they are scattered all around the world.
