| Yes, the Earth is actually closer. Even though in the Northern Hemesphere we are getting cooler days and nights the way the Earth moves around the sun and the angle we travel makes it harder for the suns rays to hit our part of the Earth.The intensity is less than it is in the summer. If you lived in the Southern Hemisphere it would be the other way. Because they are the opposite of us in seasons. |
