Part 1

The King had watched Erestor
for days before finally making his wishes known. Erestor had just finished
his training as a scribe, although he hardly needed it.

New to the Kings employment,
he started off the first council meeting with a powerful and intelligent
attitude. So beautiful, so brilliant. Every meeting Erestor was at,
he dominated with his personality, and drew attention with his clever
ideas.
His hair was tightly plaited
against the sides of his head and wound into a single braid that hung
past midway down his back. He sat down after presenting a new idea for
the Kings defenses.
Gil-Galad cleared his throat
and Erestor turned his head sharply. Without even blinking, the King
rose. That is an outstanding idea Erestor. I would like to
speak to you after the meeting. Please see me in my office. Gil-Galad
looked right at Erestor, whos gaze did not falter. Erestor inclined
his head in a manner of respect, and then remained silent for the duration
of the meeting.
Inside, Erestor was a wreck.
What could the King possibly want with him? He had only been in the
Kings employ as a scribe for little over a week. Was his idea really
that good? He had to fight the urge to look at the King, wanting only
to stare openly at the tall broad shouldered elf before him. *He is
the King!!* He told himself. It took much strength not to hang his head
in shame.
After the meeting was done,
Erestor sat there, waiting for others to leave so that he could compose
himself before going to the Kings office.
Once everyone had left, Erestor
slumped in his chair, and dropped his face into his hands. He did not
see or hear the other elf that watched him silently from an alcove across
the room. The hidden elf clenched his fists. He had seen the way that
the King had looked at Erestor. *He has no right. Erestor should be
mine*
Absent-mindedly stroking the
handle of the dagger on the right side of his belt, he thought of how
Erestor would feel in his arms. He imagined the darker elf panting as
he kissed his neck an caressed him. *You do not know it yet, but you
will be mine Erestor* He slipped out another entrance, and began to
formulate a plan.
Gil-Galad informed his guards
that Erestor would be coming to see him, and to bring him in straight
away. Then, he went to his office and sat behind his large desk. Unable
to sit still, the King began to pace. Finally, he could stand no more
even though it had only been a few minutes. He went to the door and
asked the guards if they had seen Erestor. Upon learning they hadnt,
he sent for another guard to go and see if something was amiss.

Erestor rose slowly, knowing
he could not keep the King waiting any longer. As he reached for the
door, it opened and a guard stood before him. Is there something
wrong Scribe Erestor? The King awaits you.
Erestor stammered, II
was just on my way there.
Very well. Follow me.
The guard said as he started out for the Kings office.
Erestor hoped the guard had
not seen the color in his cheeks, which would probably last for a few
more minutes.
Too quickly they reached the
royal rooms, and the guards stepped aside allowing their fellow guard
and the scribe behind him into the receiving room. Erestor took a deep
breath. The guards face softened into a smile, Worry not, the
King is not displeased with you. The opposite is happens to be true
in this matter.
Erestor managed a small smile
as he was gestured into the Kings office.
It took everything in his being
not to gasp when Gil-Galad rose and came toward Erestor. The nervous
elf bowed, how may I help you your highness?

A gentle smile appeared on
the Kings face, and he reached out to take Erestors hand. I..
The King found himself faltering slightly.
Erestor looked up at him, questioningly.
You need only ask for what you need. I am here to serve you.

That made Gil-Galad smile more.
He sighed and turned slightly, I need to ask you something. But it
is not an order.
Erestor looked perplexed. You
need not hesitate my King. I would do whatever I can to serve you.

Gil-Galad spun back toward
Erestor, Would you?
Yes. Of course I would.
You are the King, and it is my job to serve you however I can.

Gil-Galad was silent. He appeared
to be summoning his courage. Would you then meet me this evening,
in my private dining room?
Taken aback, Erestor stared
at his King. Yes Sire, of course I would.

Gil-Galad beamed, reached for
Erestors other hand and held them close. Wonderful! I will see
you then, for evening meal.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Walking down the corridor,
Erestor was completely wrapped in his own thoughts. *What could the
King possibly want of me? Surely he is not interested in me* Erestor
did not notice the elf that followed him in the shadows as he neared
the wing for the Kings employees.

Erestor quickly got his outer
robe and a towel and headed to the baths. It was early in the day, and
he found himself alone. Discarding his robe and sinking into the fresh,
cool water he closed his eyes. He washed himself, then let his thoughts
drift., Before him he imagined the great King, taking his robe off,
and then the rest of his clothes. Standing in all of his glory before
him, he beckoned to Erestor. No! Erestor said aloud. He looked
around, relieved to still be alone, I should not be having such
thoughts about the King. Suddenly, he felt cold steel against his
throat and instantly stiffened.
No, you should not. You
should be thinking of me. You should be mine. I have waited for you
all these years. How dare you ignore me, now that you have passed your
majority and completed your training?
IPlease, remove the
blade so that we may talk. Erestor wracked his brain to try and remember
who this elf was. The voice was familiar, butwho was it? The blade
was pulled away, and Erestor turned around. Maeglin?

He elf now in front of him
narrowed his eyes, I have waited for you. Since you were an elfling.
I watched you grow, become an adult. Your entire growing I waited for
you. Then you began to train as a scribe! I thought I could wait no
longer, but you were worth it.
Ido not recall you ever
saying anything to me. I had no idea that you pursued me. I
You knew! Your parents would
not let me talk to you, but they told me over and over that you were
not interested in me. So, I waited. Now you are alone and I will have
you. Out of the water, and get dressed.
Erestor paused only a moment
to gather his strength. If he was to have a chance, he had to do something
before the mad elf got him to a remote place. There would be other elves
roaming the halls, and coming to bathe.
Hurry it along Erestor,
I am patient no longer. He tossed Erestor his robe, and looked around
nervously. Say nothing to anyone, or I will kill you.
Erestor had no doubt in his
mind that the other elf spoke the truth. He put his robe on, and tied
it in front. He looked at his captor, and Maeglin pointed toward the
door.
Erestor knew that he had to
act soon. As they entered the corridor, he saw his chance when Meaglin
looked the other way down the hall.
Erestor threw his arms around Maeglin, and pinned his arms to his sides. A struggle ensued, but Erestor was no match for the enraged elf.
It ended up with Erestor pinned
to the floor. Why to you fight me? Do you not want me? How can you
do this?
Erestor tried to think quickly,
I dont even know you Meaglin. I am not in love with you, and this
is certainly not the way to try and gain my affection. The last
thing he remembered was a sharp pain emanating from his side and many
voices, Then all went black.

Peaceful music. The smell of
lilacs. Erestors eyes fluttered open. He gasped, for before him was
the face of the King. Erestor! The King exclaimed, and squeezed
the hand he had held since the night before.
My King? What has happened?
Are you alright? Was I injured
Gil-Galad looked nervously
to the healer who stood next to him. It is normal my King for him
not to remember. He has had several herbs that will cloud his memory.
Gil-Galad sighed his relief,
then turned back to Erestor. You were attacked my sweet. By Maeglin.
Apparently, he has had feelings for you for some time. Did you know
of this?
Erestor blinked as his memory
began to come back to him. He told me this in the baths, but I had
no prior knowledge. He said my parents had turned him away many times.
I can see why they would if he is capable of attacking another elf.

Alright my King, as much
as it pains me, I must ask you to let Erestor rest. You may stay, but
please allow him to rest. I will get him a tea to help him to sleep
so that he can heal.
Gil-Galad nodded his agreement,
Of course. I will not be so restless now that he has woken.
The healer nodded and smiled and went off to get the sleeping tea.

Erestor looked at his King
as the reality of what happened came back even more, I was stabbed

The King caressed the side
of Erestors face with the back of his hand. Yes, you were. But
that will not happen again. Maeglin has been confined and will await
trial. But you need not worry about that. Only concern yourself with
getting better, so that we may have our evening meal together when you
are better.
If Erestor thought the last
comment odd, he said nothing. The healer brought the tea in then, and
Erestor drank it quickly and drifted back to sleep.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The next two days the King
suspended his duties and sat next to Erestor. Erestor remained in a
healing sleep aided with the tea. The healer did his best to reassure
the King. Will he be alright? The King asked quietly.

He should recover fully
my King. No organs were hit, but he lost a lot of blood due to laying
unattended for the first several minutes. The elves that had happened
upon him as he was stabbed would have of course helped him right away,
but they had to subdue Meaglin to ensure their safety and the Erestor
wouldnt be attacked further. He can go back to his rooms in
a week or so, as soon as he is able to walk and the wound has closed.
If he had a mate, he could go sooner, but he has no one to care for
him that I am aware of.
The King thought a moment,
What if I were to find someone to care for him, to stay with him
so that he might heal in his own rooms?

That would be fine my King.
He could be brought there tomorrow, in the afternoon. Can you have someone
there by then? The healer asked.
Yes, bring him then and
all will be ready.
The King spent the rest of
the day in a much happier mood. When Erestor awoke, he was greeted by
Gil-Galads bright smile.
You are here again my King?
It is wonderful to see you, but I do not want to keep you from your
duties. I will be fine my lord. I am quite comfortable, and have little
pain. I will return to my duties as soon as I am allowed.

That is not why I am here
Erestor. I..am concerned for you and I would see you well. Please
relax and let yourself heal. There is no rush for you to return to your
duties. Tomorrow however, you will be returning to your rooms to heal.

And now I must ask you to
let Erestor rest and for you to get some as well my King. He will only
be sleeping this evening, as you should be. The healer looked at
him seriously.
The King nodded, I would
like a moment alone with my scribe, then I will go.
Very well my King, the
healer smiled and left the room.
Gil-Glad looked down into the
questioning eyes of Erestor, and smiled. The Kings eyes were full
of concern. Erestor he began, his voice faltering. I am
so very glad to see you recovering, and I am looking forward to having
that evening meal with you soon. With that, the King bent down and
placed his lips to Erestors then quickly left the room.

When the healer returned to
his patient, he found Erestor staring at the ceiling, blinking. Is
something wrong Erestor? Are you in pain?

Erestor focused, then shook
his head slightly, no, I am well. Just .confused. The Kinghe
has been here several times? It seems he has been here whenever I awake.

The healer smiled and gently
rested a hand on his patients arm, he has been here since shortly
after you were brought in. He was quite worried about you. He has not
slept for two days except for a nap or two in the chair. He will be
back tomorrow early no doubt. Rest now, for tomorrow you will be returning
to your rooms.
Part 2
Erestor woke, but did not open
his eyes. Had the King really kissed him? Maybe he is very affectionate.
No, it must have been a dream. When the room came into focus, was greeted
immediately by the healer who was gathering bandages and herbs to bring
with Erestor to his rooms. Do you feel like walking today?

I think I can manage a short
walk, Erestor said with a smile. The healer helped Erestor to his
feet, and held onto his good side to support him. Once satisfied that
Erestor would not fall, he let him take a few steps on his own.

It appears that you are
well on your way to healing. Make sure that you do not overdue it though,
or you will end up back here.
Erestor smiled, I will be
most careful then. He sat back on the bed and looked eagerly at the
breakfast that had been brought. Before eating, he asked, has
the King been by today?
The healer looked at the disappointed
face of the scribe and smiled again, the King stopped by when
you were still asleep. I would not let him wake you. He said that he
would see you in your rooms this afternoon.

Erestor brightened some upon
hearing that he would see Gil-Galad later, yet he remained subdued as
he ate.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Erestor began to fidget. It
was not like him, yet he was so anxious to get to his rooms and hopefully
see the King, he couldnt help but be a little agitated. Will we
leave soon? He asked the healer.
We are exactly three minutes
closer to leaving than we were the last time you asked. Patience. I
am waiting for another healer to arrive to make sure your transfer is
safe. He is not due to arrive for another hour. I want you to stay here
until then to be sure you are still stable.

Erestor sighed, alright,
I will try to wait patiently. It is just that Erestor stopped
short.
I know Erestor. You wish
to see the King. He has promised to be at your rooms this afternoon.
One more hour will certainly not kill you.
I suppose it will not.
Erestor settled back down on his bed and resolved to rest until then.

Erestor made his way slowly
down the corridor, a healer on each side of him. Upon reaching his rooms,
the door was opened and Erestors eyes settled on the stunning figure
of the King. Not in his regular robes, he looked different. Clad in
only leggings and a light tunic, he reached out and took Erestors
hand. Come in and sit Erestor. Your bed is ready and there are
plenty of pillows to keep you comfortable.
Erestor nodded wordlessly,
and went over to his bed at sat. The healer set the sack or bandages
and herbs on a table near the bed. There are clean bandages for several
days here. The herbs in the dark brown leather bag are for healing,
and the others in the tan leather are for pain. If you need anything
at all, do not hesitate to ask. Even if it seems trivial or foolish,
I would much rather answer a simple question than find a problem because
I was not asked.
Very well healer. Thank
you. The King said.
The healers turned to leave
and Erestor spoke up, but my King, there is no one else here. Surely
you will not be here long, is someone else coming to help me?

The head healer turned around
and looked at the confused scribe, oh I am afraid that you will heave
to put up with the King for a while longer. He will be caring for you.
Erestor thought he saw a broad smile on both healers faces as they turned
again and left.
My King, Erestor began,
surely you have much more pressing matters to attend to. You cannot
spend all of your time here caring for me. Perhaps you could send for
one of the other young scribes and they would be able to help me.

Gil-Galad smiled kindly, and
sat next to Erestor. He reached up and caressed the scribes cheek
softly. I have needed a vacation for a long time. This will be the
perfect opportunity for be to take a break from my daily tasks. I am
confident that the members of my staff are capable. If they should have
an emergency, they know I am here.

Erestor blushed, they know
you are here my King? Dodo they not find that odd?

They would not dare question
my reasons. Besides that, a few of them know of my.affection for
you. Gil-Galad looked hopefully at the young elf sitting next to
him.

Youraffection for me?
It was not a dream then that you kissed me? Erestor widened his
eyes in shock.
No, it was not a dream Erestor. I am drawn to you, and I wish to pursue you, and court you if you would let me. It would please me greatly to take care of you until you heal. We can get to know each other better during that time. The King looked at the young scribe hopefully.
Erestor blinked, then looked
into the kind eyes in front of him. Iyou have taken me by surprise
my King. Will not others think it odd that you are with a lowly scribe?

My staff know better than
to challenge me on such matters. I chose who I will be with. What is
the point of being the King if I cannot make the rules? the King
smiled broadly.

Part 3
Erestor was not used to being
doted upon, and felt rather strange laying there and having the King
care for him. He was made comfortable in his bed, then Gil-Galad went
to let the servant in the hallway know to bring a tray of food for the
evening meal in a couple hours. The King then returned to Erestor, who
was waiting anxiously.
The King sat down gently on
the bed next to Erestor, careful not to jar him. My King, you will
not hurt me. My pain is minimal. Erestor thought of moving over,
but decided that he wanted the pain to remain minimal.
The King looked deep in thought
for a few moments, then turned to Erestor, I..do not usually
hesitate saying what is on my mind. However, being with you somehow
makes me nervous. I feel as though I am in my youth again. You must
know by now that I have feelings for you. May I court you?
Erestors eyes got rather
big and he looked like a frightened deer for a moment. When he
was able to speak, he found himself stammering as well. Iwould
be honored my King, but I am so young. Surely you would be happier with
someone older.
No Erestor, Gil-Galad
shook his head. I do not want someone older. It is you I want and
you whom I wish to pursue.
The King looked hopefully at
the beautiful elf before him, laying on the bed. Rest now Erestor,
I do not need an answer right at this moment. You have been through
much in the last few days. We can discuss this later this evening or
tomorrow. Gil-Galad stood up. Then bent down and brushed is lips
against Erestors forehead and walked out of the room.
Erestor was completely shocked,
and laid there speechless for several minutes before drifting off to
sleep.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Erestor awoke to the soft touches
of the King changing his bandage. Sire, could not a healer come by
to do that?
Gil-Galad furrowed his brow,
Are you uncomfortable with me touching you?
Erestor looked down at his
hands that were fiddling with the blanket. II am uncomfortable
because I do not feel you should be tending to me. I am barely an adult,
you are the King. I am concerned about what others will think and how
it will affect you.
So it is not that you do
not want my touch? Gil-Galad asked hopefully.

Erestor looked up, blushing.
Nno my King. Ido desire you. I simply do not feel worthy
mmmmph!
Gil-Galad wasted no time seizing
the scribes lips. Erestor relaxed from the shock of it and soon found
the King exploring his mouth. When they finally parted, they were both
gasping for breath. The King took Erestors face in his hands and
looked into his eyes. There is so much more that I wish to do with
you. I fear though that we will have to wait until you are mended.
Erestor blushed again, I
want to do much more as well Sire, then looked down.
Well, there is one thing
you can do. Stop calling me Sire. Or King. Just Gil-Galad is fine. Perhaps
after we know each other more, you will find a pet name for me. The
King looked at Erestor with a smirk.
Erestor smiled, then laughed
quietly. Am I to understand then that you are accepting my proposal
to court you?
Yes Gil-Galad, I am. Although,
I fear I will be quite boring for the next week or two. I am not in
a great deal of pain, however I do not think the healers would be very
happy if I were to engage incertain activities Erestor
trailed off.
No, I suppose not. We will
find other ways toget to know each other. Perhaps I could help
you wash.
Erestor blinked, I would
enjoy that very much, but..no one outside of a healer or my family
have seen me naked. Surely you can appreciate that it will bedifficult
for me.
Gil-Galad smiled, It will
only take a few moments for me to distract you I think. Close your eyes,
I will return in a moment.
Erestor did as he was bade,
and waited. Gil-Galad was quick to find a basin and the other things
he needed. He slowly removed Erestors bed clothes as the slighter
elf gasped and panted for breath with each touch of the Kings hands.
Finally naked before him, Gil-Galad
took the warm cloth and began to wash Erestor from head to toe, skipping
over the one part that was craving his touch. His member wept, and twitched
as the cloth traveled next to it, not quite touching it. Please.I
need you Gil-GaladAhhhhhh!!!! Velvet heat surrounded Erestor
and he thrust upward, unable to control himself.
Gil-Galad paused, letting Erestor
slip out of his mouth. A moan escaped Erestor and he begged to be taken
back into the moist cavern.
Erestor, I have every intention
of bringing you more pleasure, but you must be still. Your wound is
healing well, but I cannot risk you hurting your self. Gil-Galad
waited until Erestor could speak.
Iwill try to remain still.
That will not be easyyou areso warmand...please do not
make me wait any longer. I cannot bear it>

Pleased he had Erestor in such
a state he eagerly engulfed the scribe again. As is was Erestor did
not have long to be still. He cried out the Kings name and his seed
spilled out. Gil-Galad gently put his arms around his new love, and
held him while he trembled from the aftershocks.

Erestor finally looked up into
the Kings eyes, and smiled. That wasindescribable
I am pleased that you enjoyed
it. Rest now my love, when you are well, I show you many more pleasures.
Erestor and Gil-Galad drifted into sleep together, both dreaming of
the days to come.

The End
