Request: Angst, seductive, intelligent and strong Erestor, a very strong/sure of himself Glorfindel. Either in Gondolin or Imladris. One is already involved with some other Elf when they meet. Either one. And I am a sucker for a happy ending, though I do like the gut wrenching angst before the happy ending comes about.

Erestor paced the cold marble floor of the Library, lost in thought. It had been some time since the other inhabitants of Imladris had gone to bed, but he remained awake, prisoner to his thoughts. Thoughts, annoyingly, of the comely and nearly arrogant Glorfindel. The blonde had haunted the keen, raven haired elf for some months now, ever since he had seen a new side to the golden one.

Erestor had been strolling through the gardens of Imladris, as was his habit after the evening meal. After all, he himself had no ones chambers to rush too, so why shouldn't he seek the peace he found in Nature? As Erestor was about to round a hedge and reach the center of the gardens (in which their was a famous, beautiful marble fountain of an Elf pouring water from her hands) he heard voices. Ever curious, Erestor couldn't help but peak around the hedge to see just who was trysting on this Autumn eve. He had to cover his hand with his mouth to prevent his loud gasp from escaping once he saw the couple.

Glorfindel and Greenleaf? Thranduil's youngest? By the Valar, what WAS that ancient fool thinking? These thoughts rushed through Erestor's head as he kept his eyes glued to the pair of blondes, unable to look away even though he knew he should give the two the privacy they obviously sought.

The two were seated together on the bench in front of the fountain, thighs touching. Greenleaf looked adoringly up at Glorfindel, who was gently caressing the younger elf's cheek. A slight blush graced the cheekbone's of Thranduil's youngest and Glorfindel leaned down and quietly said something to make his companion smile, and give a slight nod. Glorfindel returned the smile, and Erestor could see tenderness in his eyes that he held for the younger elf. Slowly, Glorfindel leaned down and gently claimed Greenleaf's lips. Erestor couldn't help but close his eyes when he heard the moan the younger elf gave. Shooting open a second later, he noted Greenleaf had twined both of his arms around Glorfindel's neck, keeping him still. Glorfindel returned the touches by placing his own hands on the younger's waist.

Erestor bit his bottom lip, his mind whirling. He'd never seen the arrogant, assured Glorfindel be so tender with his advances. Usually, from what Erestor had seen before, Glorfindel's seduction style was almost blatant. He made no bones about what he wanted from his chosen partners. But he'd been spending much time with Greenleaf since his arrival for the Council a week ago. It was obvious this was a planned attack, so different from Glorfindel's norm.

Seeing Greenleaf move and guide Glorfindel's hands to a lower position, past his narrow hips, Erestor because suddenly dizzy, and he left as quickly and quietly as he'd come.

That had been months ago, and the Advisor was still trying to push Glorfindel from his thoughts. Sighing, he gave in to his continued restlessness and made his was to the Kitchen. Some Tea might do to calm his nerves. To his surprise, the warm glow of a candle in the Kitchen greeted him as he entered. To his surprise, the object of his thoughts was seated at the small table, a cup of Tea in hand. He looked up as he heard Erestor enter and smiled.

"Good evening, Erestor," he greeted, quietly, indicating that the other should occupy the seat opposite him. Erestor took a breath to calm his nerves and sat. "What keeps you up at this hour?"

Erestor managed a small smile. "You first, Glorfindel. What could possibly vex you enough to keep you awake?" Erestor asked.

Glorfindel chuckled, and rose, fetching a cup before pouring the fragrant, hot tea and setting the cup in front of Erestor. Erestor nodded his thanks.

"Love." the blonde finally said, after a few moments of comfortabl silence.

"Love?" Erestor repeated, dumbfounded. "Glorfindel, I know you've no lack of bedmates when you wish them."

Glorfindel smiled.

"True enough, but lately, I find myself... getting bored with my current partner. Do not mistake me. He is wonderful, and giving, and completely desirable." at the last words, Erestor blushed, but Glorfindel continued, "And I do not wish to hurt him, but I want more."

Erestor puzzled over what he had just been told.

"More?"

"Yes. More. Erestor, don't you believe that in all the souls that inhabit this world, that there was one, just one, made for you and you alone?"

Erestor gave a small smile.

"I did not take you for such a romantic, Glorfindel, but to answer your question, yes. I suppose I would agree that there is one perfect mate."

Glorfindel nodded and contemplated his Tea for a silent moment.

"Then what am I to do? I do not want to hurt him, but there is another who holds my heart and soul, and neither of them know of how I feel."

Erestor pondered for a moment, his heart hammering in his chest. Why was he listening to this? The blonde haunted him enough but now he had to hear even more about his romantic life?

"If you care for your current partner, you must let him go as gently as you can. Then I see no reason why you should not make your feelings known to the other." Erestor said, ever calm, ever reasonable, even while wanting nothing more then to run from the Kitchen and back to his room.

Glorfindel gave Erestor a small smile, and nodded.

"Thank you for your sound advice my friend." the blonde said, rising from the table and pushing his chair in. "I hope sleep finds you soon. I myself am ready to retire for the night."

Erestor gave a small smile.

"Thank you for the tea, Glorfindel. Sleep well."

And with a friendly pat to Erestor's shoulder, the blonde swept out of the kitchen, leaving the Advisor alone with his thoughts. He gave a resigned sigh, and nursed his tea until it was cold. Suddenly feeling bone weary, he trudged back to his room and slept.

The next two weeks went by quickly. There was helping Elrond plan the Winter Solstice Celebration on top of his normal duties. With his mind still dangerously lingering over his Midnight conversation with Glorfindel, Erestor was increasingly tired and strained.

Soon enough though, came the night of the celebration. Feasting and music were the order of the evening, and the Hall was decorated to the Nines with all manner of greenery and glittering candlelight. Still, as Erestor dressed for the evening, he wondered what Glorfindel was doing, and what had become of their conversation and his advice. With a sigh, he gave up and returned to weaving green, red and silver ribbon in his dark hair. Dressed in a green tunic and soft brown pants and boots, he hoped he looked presentable. With a final glance in the mirror, he left his room and made his way to the hall.

It was truly beautiful, with the greenery and candlelight. It made the atmosphere intimate and inviting. He smiled in return to Elrond's greeting before his gaze moved to Glorfindel who stood beside the Elf Lord. Dressed in white from head to foot, his hair loose and brushed to a sheen, the warrior truly was a site. Erestor's heart swelled, and he made himself return Glorfindel's smile.

Elrond called for silence after a few moments (as the last of the elves arrived for the celebration), and it was time to be seated for the feast. Erestor took a seat at the far end of the table as was his custom.

"Do you mind if sit next to you, Erestor?" a silky voice questioned, jolting Erestor from his intense study of his goblet. He looked up to find Glorfindel smiling down at him.

"Of course you may." he replied. Glorfindel smiled once more and took his seat as the food began to be served. They ate mostly in companionable silence, talking about unimportant things when they did speak. Soon enough though, the feast was cleared away and it was time for the music and dancing. Erestor stood, moving to take his usual space along the wall next to the musicians, when he felt a strong hand grasp his elbow.

"I was wondering if you might walk with me. I know you do not enjoy dancing." Glorfindel said quietly into Erestor's ear.

Closing his eyes and taking a calming breath, Erestor turned to face Glorfindel.

"Yes Glorfindel. Thank you. I often feel out of place at a party, even if I did help with he planning." Erestor replied with a small smile, which Glorfindel returned.

"I think you did a lovely job, and look. Everyone is already enjoying themselves. You were successful." Glorfindel said, gently taking Erestor's arm and leading the other from the Hall and to the Study which adjoined the Library.

They sat in companionable silence for a moment or two before Erestor spoke.

"The feast was exceptional, was it not?" he asked.

Glorfindel gave an alarming, almost predatory smile. "Yes, it was. But I myself am hungry for fare of a different kind this night."

"W-w-what do you mean Glorfindel?" Erestor asked, his composure faltering at Glorfindel's smile.

"Your hair is stunning tonight, with the ribbons. They are a beautiful touch." Glorfindel replied, spooning in behind Erestor and placing warm, gentle yet strong hands on the smaller elf's hips. Erestor tensed.

"Glorfindel. This makes no sense. Just weeks ago, you lamented being encumbered by one but longing for another." Erestor turned and faced Glorfindel who did not relinquish his hold on Erestor's hips.

"I followed your advice. Let him down as gently as I could. And now, I want to let my true love know how I feel about him."

Erestor shook his head, befuddled, and looked up at Glorfindel.

"Me? I warn you I will not be toyed with." he said, weakly.

Glorfindel held his gaze and brought one hand up to Erestor's cheek. "I would never toy with you, Erestor. I've wanted you for too long. I've just been too fool to admit it to you or to myself. You are kind, wise, and beautiful. And I want you. Only you." Glorfindel murmured.

Erestor's heart pounded. Was he in a dream? Even so, he did not wish to break the spell now. He closed his eyes, trying to regain some control.

"And I want you, Glorfindel." he replied shakily.

"Then you have me." the blonde replied, before leaning down and claiming Erestor's lips in a gentle, questing kiss that left the dark haired elf weak. Erestor couldn't hold back a moan as Glorfindel intensified his the kiss, applying even more sweet, firm pressure to Erestor's willing lips.

Glorfindel's hands slid down Erestor's lithe body and drew him closer, so they finally touched, Erestor instantly feeling the heat and hardness of the other's desire and passion for him. Slowly, gently, he backed Erestor up until the other was against the beautiful, wide, wooden desk. In one swift, seamless move, he plucked Erestor from his feet and sat him upon the desk, before stepping between the other's legs and kissing him again.

"Let me please you, love." the blonde said against Erestor's kiss swollen lips. "Mmm." was the only reply he recieved and the only one he needed. Keeping the dark haired elf occupied with kissing his lips and delectable neck and ears, Glorfindel moved his fingers ever downwards until they found the fastening to his breeches. Lifting his hips to help the process, Erestor moaned again in anticipation.

He'd dreamed Glorfindel would be sweet, and sinfully hot, but he felt he would be burned alive by the warrior's passion. The intensity of everything he was feeling was frightening to say the least, but at this point he didn't care.

He gasped as Glorfindel's hands gently stroked his hips and thighs, sending fire straight through him. He watched as the warrior bent, his blonde hair grazing along his skin.

Glorfindel loved to tease, and this time was no exception. He gently kissed his way down Erestor's hips and thighs, ignoring the area that the other wanted his attentions the most. Erestor arched and writhed under his touch, and his breathing was fast and hard.

"Glorfindel," he gasped. "Do not tease!" he finished with a hiss as a warm breath blew across his aching cock.

Glorfindel looked up at him with an angelic smile.

"As you wish." he said, before moving on, with vigor to his prize, causing Erestor to cry out. Never one to do anything by halves, Glorfindel applied himself to his task. Licking along the underside and sucking the dripping head of Erestor's insanely perfect cock. With a hum, he reached down with his free hand and gently squeezed Erestor's sack. With relish, he watched as his touch put the other over the edge, and he cried out and arched under the blonde, shaking intensely.

Glorfindel straightened, and took the lovely dark haired elf into his arms, kissing him gently.

"Mine?" he asked, brushing back a strand of hair from Erestor's face.

Erestor smiled. "Yours."
