Halloween III

Season of the Witch

Review: There aren't too many people out there that actually like Halloween III, but I am one of them. I think it's a great movie. It's not quite a slasher movie, and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the rest of the series, but it's still a great, original story.
A deranged corporation called Silver Shamrock has created a line of Halloween masks for kids that will kill whoever is wearing them on October 31st when the company's commercial is aired on national television. A young man and woman discover the plot and attempt to stop it.
Once again, this has nothing to do with the other Halloween films, but it's still a cool movie. There's a few great death scenes, and the concept is just cool. Still, the film's not for everyone. If you want a creative horror movie with an interesting concept, check out Halloween III. If you want the continuing saga of slasher king Michael Myers, move straight ahead to Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers.

Trivia: Writer/Director Tommy Lee Wallace was also responsible for the excellent television adaption of Stephen King's novel IT.
