The Beatles Gallery
The Beatles in their early days. This was taken in the 60's. They are wearing their famous collarless suits. From left to right: Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon. Between Paul and George, at the back, is Ringo Starr on the drums. This was typically hw The Beatles stood. George and Paul shared a mic, while John, who was usually lead vocals at the time, would have his own microphone.
This is an old picture of The Beatles. Again they are wearing the collarless suits. Notice how the position is the same as the last picture. Paul and George sharing a microphone, and John on his own. From left to right: Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon. In the background, between George and John, is Ringo Starr on the drums.
This was The Beatles in their outfits for the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It is a complete contrast from the one in the top left hand corner of this page. This was taken from the sleeve of that album. From left to right: Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. By this time The Beatles had started to grow their hair and all had moustaches. This picture was taken in 1967.
This is another early picture of The Beatles. Notice, once again, the collarless suits. At the front is John Lennon and to his left, George Harrison. Behind them is Ringo Starr and to his left his Paul McCartney.
This picture was of The Beatles before they became a hit in America. Notice how the American flag is there to make it seem as if The Beatles were proud to be in America. From bottom in a clockwise direction: Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon, Ringo Starr.
