| On The Hardest Of Days |
| Have you ever had that feeling, Like nothing you do is right. And when you finish something, You find it to be a fright. And all your friends you thought, Would be there until the end, Do not even seem like a friend. And when you stumble, And you begin to fall. And there is no one there, To catch you at all. I just want you to know, That i will be there for you. And you can count on me to help, With what you are going through. For I know that life, Is very cruel and hard. And it is sometimes painful, If you don't put up your guard. So I will be a guard for you, On the hardest of days. And I will not leave you, Until your suffering goes away. For I know that, When you feel down. Maybe all you need is a friend, To help you get rid of that frown. So if you read this poem, It is a promise that is true. That I will always be there, I'll be there waiting...just for you. Jeremy Davenport |
