| More than Yesterday, Less than Tomorrow |
| I thought about the question, "How did we ever meet?" It was when I opened the doors, Of the Cafeteria to eat. I took one glance at you, And another, till you stayed in my eyes. I can't tell you anymore, of these childish lies. The lies I tell you, That I really dont care. Keeping the truth from you, I cannot stand to bare. I want to tell you, Who is on my mind. You would never guess, She is one of a kind! She is shorter than I, And has hair of gold. She has a beautiful look, That would never grow old. She has these beautiful, Shoking eyes of blue. Are you still guessing, Or do you need another clue? If you need another, I will give you one last hint. I just want you to remember, All of this is heart sent. She has this amazing smile, That brings hope on my worst day. Its you that I can't get out of my mind, Sorry to ruin it, I just had to say! For you I would, Turn back the moon and sun. Just so we could share another, Second together, even just one. I would take down the stars, And make a necklace for you to wear. Or take the sunset from the sky, With it, make a crown to put in your hair. I would put the sun above your head, So you would never get lost. I would do all this for you, No matter the cost! Because I love you, And my love every day grows. More than yesterday, less than tomorrow, I hope this love for you shows! Jeremy Davenport |
