| A Day Without Rain |
| Your sweet love and I, Are like a day without rain. The earth can't live without it, Without you, all I feel is pain. See, you are the rain in the desert, On the hottest and driest day. And when I see you pass by, All my suffering goes away. You are my own reliever, Believer, and friend. And I hope that you and I, Will make it to the end. You are an angel, But that I already knew. Because I know that you, Are one of God's chosen few. When I look at you, I can hardly bare! Seeing those beautiful, Eyes, heart, and Hair. I could never look into your eyes, For I was afraid you might see. Just how much, You mean to me. I hope you know, My love is true. Because I can't love anyone, The way I do for you. But when I know for sure, That you are from the skies. Is when I look into, Your pretty, baby blue eyes. For behind those eyes, Is your kind and tender heart. And that is why I've loved you, From our friendship's very start. So I end this poem, With a solem vow. That I will grant, All your wishes some how. |
