May 16, 2005 � Vince McMahon announces a new draft lottery. The Draft will take place from June 6th until June 30th. One pick a week per show, until the final week when each show will get two picks.
June 30, 2005 - Raw and Smackdown make a 11-person trade. Raw receives Mark Jindrak, Rene Dupree, Danny Basham, Kenzo Suzuki (with Hiroko), and Chavo Guerrero. Smackdown receives William Regal, Candace Michelle, Sylvain Grenier, Simon Dean, Steven Richards.
June 2005 - The Mexicools (Juventud, Psicosis, and Super Crazy) debut on Smackdown.
July 2005 - Road Warrior Animal shows up on Smackdown and aligns with Heidenreich. Frankie Kazarian debuts on Velocity, which is on the Smackdown brand.
August 22, 2005 - Raw trades Christy Hemme and Stacy Keibler to Smackdown for Torrie Wilson and Candace Michelle.
