| Johnny Snider, once a great rock guitarist, has had a long, difficult 5 years in the world of backyard wrestling. The former rocker turned brawler is obsessed with being number one. So obsessed, in fact, that once he made it to the big time feds, he snapped under the pressure of success. He started to suffer from split personalities. A darker side of Snider came out that was fueled by his greed for success. This darker side was referred to as the Fallen Angel. He constantly switched between this evil persona and a cartoon-like incarnation of himself named Hardcore Johnny. Hardcore Johnny was infatuated with the 80's hair metal craze. He didn't care about anything but rocking! This went on until 2004, when Snider's subconscious realized that the darker side brought him more victories, title belts, and fame. Also, many looked at Hardcore Johnny as a joke, so Fallen Angel consumed Snider. Even a different personality wasn't enough to help Snider carry the load of being a successful wrestler. In 2005, the evil lifestyle, along with the pressure of acomplishment caused Angel to have suicidal thoughts. These thoughts brought more insability. the instability brought yet another part of Snider's mind out of hiding: Nick Dismal. Nick Dismal wished for death to fall upon him. He often challenged wrestlers who were considered to be "ultraviolent". The peak of his suicidal rage came when he entered himself into the HBW Lord of the Hardkore tournament, and had a Tia-Pei Deathmatch with two time tournament winner, Synn. Eventually, Nick's risk taking paid off. It landed him hard earned fame and title reigns. This feeling of self accomplishment made way for a more true-to-life Hardcore Johnny to reemerge. All seemed to be finally normal. In early 2006, Hardcore Johnny was brutally and severly beaten. Johnny didn't understand why someone so nice as he was got treated so viciously. Johnny's want for revenge allowed an opening for the Fallen Angel to return for a brief while. The constant switching of personalities was too much for Snider's mind to bear. He has been in seclusion for the past month, coming to grips with his demons. He now believes he has it all under control. Snider says that after 5 years, he is comfortable with the wrestling lifestyle and is ready to start anew. Durring his five years of insanity, Snider was able to capture an amazing 15 heavyweight title reigns through various companies and personalities. Not to mention multiple hardcore titles, tag team titles, and other championships along the way. The amazing thing is that he has only begun to rock the world of wrestling. |
