This is my 73 Duster I got her in March of 04. I paid $1,500. When I got her she did not look like this she was a butterscotch do-do brown. It was in good condition just a little rust in the rear quarters but none no where else. The interior was in good shape the driver side front seat was a little ripped but we got it fixed. We redone everything inside we painted the dash and got the dash pad line-xed. At first after we did all that we done the body work and re painted it. We left the stock 198 slant six in it that thing was dirt slow it would not even power-brake or burnout in the grass with a 0-60 in 4 days it was horrible. My dad and I thought about rather to rebuild his 340 and put that in there or build a slant six. We decided to do the slant six since we have never done one before. We had a 225 in a 68 dodge truck of my dads we decided to use it had a 727 behind it so we built it also (I do not recommended it for race you loose a few tenths because it is heavier and a slant six will never produce enough power to break it) we done all this over the summer it took us forever to build it and get it done I took it out the first week of summer and I had it in and at the muffler shop on the last day of summer in enough time to drive it to school.

Now i run 10.30's in the 1/8th but that was before i put my new cam in and i have not had time to take it to the track when i do i will put the new time sheet up here
