Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2004 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Greetings. I have read on your site that your business situation is improving and you have been busy rebuilding and restructuring both your business and your repuatation. That is commendable and much better than the alternative you had implied earlier -- to close down and declare bankruptcy. I am sure you can anticipate my inquiry and the reason I am sending you this email. I would like to know your intention regarding my refund. It has now been two years since I paid you for that cancelled convention. Sincerely,

Date: Wed, 24 Mar 2004 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] I am not ignoring you. As you are aware, you have selected a different collection method. Had you not, you would have been paid by now. You are "in the sysytem", and must be dealt with in that manor. Any furthur communication needs to go through your selected representation. Dave Scott

Date: Wed, 24 Mar 2004 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Greetings Dave. As you are aware, I had attempted repeatedly to receive a response from you regarding my refund. It was for that reason I felt it necessary to try to get your attention. If you wish further communication to be sent through my 'selected representation', have your 'selected representation' deliver me notification to that effect. Also, please be sure to include the reason you feel I am not entitled to my refund, because I am still confused and it has been over two years now. I believe you already have my mailing address. I gave it to you when you were 'teasing' me with the prospect of actually receiving my refund. Otherwise, I can continue to contact you in any non-threatening and non-harrassing manner I see fit -- be it through emails, fax, phone or in person. Sincerely,

Date: Mon, 08 Apr 2004 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] I am not allowed direct contact with you. Please do not attempt to "set me up" by asking me to negotiate directly with you. as you know, per your request, you now have a representative handling all communication for you.

Date: Thu, 08 Apr 2004 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] I have no interest in your games. All I want is my money. I have no one 'communicating' FOR me as of yet but have become aware that I need to take a more aggressive course of action. The business and personal ethics surrounding the fact that you owe me money is obviously not sufficient motivation for you. You have had my money for over two years now. If you do not wish to 'communicate directly' with me, provide me with the name and contact of your representation, as per my previous request. Since the beginning, all I have asked for is the original amount of money spent -- not a penny more. This situation has caused me much stress over the past year and a half and if it is to continue to do so, I am forced to take a different approach. I will have my remuneration request formally presented through your representation, including a copy of my receipt for two 'gold' convention tickets, my credit card statement showing the completed transaction, a copy of the original refund request form you sent me personally, a list of all the dates of attempted phone calls to your company, confirmations of faxed requests, returned registered letters, unused hotel and air tickets to Vegas for the cancelled conventions and the history of emails -- including where you were deliberately misleading me by telling me that you would paypal me my refund. The bottom line is that you owe me money and there is no reason you should not have already paid me when my request was first submitted. The fact that you still refuse to do so now is simply malicious and unethical.
