TOP TWENTY DOWNLOADS: For the month of July 2K3
20 - "Low" by the Foo Fighters
(FINALY...here's the Foo Fighters I used to respect!)

19 - "Bad Days" by The Flaming Lips
(Take from the Batman Forever soundtrack comes this lost classic.  Lord knows I'm a sucker for a band who's singer has a not so normal voice...and that's the kinda sound this band generates.)

18 - "Aneurysm" by Nirvana
(... ::I don't need to hype anything by Nirvana::)

17 - "The Hardest Button To Button" by The White Stripes
(Kinda odd, at first I hated this band cuz I thought they were just another flash in the pan, wanna be old school alternative band...but they're growin on me, as they deserve to!)

16 - "Just Another Victim" by Helmet/House of Pain
(One of the best songs to collaborate a rock band with rappers.)

15 - Anything off of St. Anger by MetallicA
(Yeah, that's just me being funny!!)

14 - "We're an American Band" by Grand Funk Railroad
(Another classic from the classic rock era.  Great intro, great song.)

13 - "Rusty Cage" by Soundgarden
(Chris Cornell is by far one of the best rock vocalists of all time, and this song is a good way to prove it to the masses.)

12 - "B Boys Makin With The Freak Freak" by The Beasty Boys
(Host to the greatest sound clip EVER in a song.  You'll have to d/l it to find out!)

11 - "My Song" by Jerry Cantrell
(Not one....)

10 - "Cut You In" by Jerry Cantrell
(NOT TWO.....)

9 - "Dickeye" by Jerry Cantrell
(But THREE track from the same guy! (As well the same album) If you liked Alice In Chains, and you don't already own this c.d., these are the best reasons I can sum up to you to go out and buy it!)

8 - "Camel Back Cinema" by Primus
(Next to Born To Hula by QOTSA, this is by far the best drum track by any modern rock band to date.)

7 - "Shake Your Groove Thing" by Peaches and Herb
(Sorry, but that Metallica joke just didn't seem funny enough!)

6 - "Rearview Mirror" by Pearl Jam
(I just love this song...very tear jerking towards the end.  Your typical PJ song, but rockin none the less!)

5 - "Where I End and You Begin" by Radiohead
(If this album isn't album of the year (Hail To The Theif) then I'll be absolutely appauled!)

4 - "Loco" by Coal Chamber
(Some of ya's probably won't dig this track, but for those who partake in heavy shit, this one's for you!)

3 - "Backwater" by The Meat Puppets
(Such a great song from such a great 90's band.  My idol would be proud to see me list this in the top 3!)

2 - "Testify" by Rage Against The Machine
(Any Rage is GOOD rage no matter how ya slice it!)

and as it stands for all lists, there has to be the grand messiah to take it on home, so...without further adeu,

HERE IT IS...

1 - "One (Is the Lonliest Number)" covered by Filter
(Kinda ironic this band's hit #1 two editions in a row. So it's kinda fitting I picked this track to end the list this month.)

THERE YOU HAVE IT,Till later... I AM
SlaM, and you ONLY...wish you WERE!!!
