My name is Kevin Kolb and I am the owner of the Illinois Hitmen.  I am a 35 year old father of three, making my debut in a simulation football league.  I have 14 years experience in strat baseball leagues, including 6 years as league commissioner. 

 

As a huge football fan, it is somewhat surprising to me that I have not joined a league before now.  I think the fact that I have the opportunity to build my team from Day 1 here in the IFL was the deciding factor..........although I have been very impressed with the way in which the league "executives" have gone about setting everything up.  It also appears to me that there is a nice collection of owners who are interested in making this league a rousing success.

 

My team name is the Illinois Hitmen.  While I wish there was something "magical" to the selection of the name............there really isn't.  

 

I look forward to playing a small part in getting this league off the ground, and hope to be around for a long time.
