BARBARY COAST 49ERS

Coach: Chuck "CD" Drive
Bio:
Barbary Coast is the nickname for the San Francisco Bay Area going back to the post-gold rush days where "The City" was a seedy underworld of gambling, prostitution and all kinds of nefarious activity.
49ers name comes from the gold rush folks that headed west in 1849 seeking their fortune in the gold fields in CA. The only people who really made any money were those who opened the general stores selling tents and picks and such.
The Niners uniforms are patterned after the miners, who wore red flannel shirts and gold Levi-style pants. The old Sourdoughs.
