| I am writing to you as President of the Theta Phi House Corporation.��The House Corporation is a non-profit corporation organized from collegiate and alumnae members of the Fraternity to hold title, to lease or otherwise manage real and personal property occupied and used by the collegiate chapter. | The House Corporation maintains the chapter house with the use of funds derived from rent and/or parlor fees your daughter pays each year.� Any projects to upgrade the facility typically come from any savings that the House Corporation might have over expenses.� We have tried to keep rent and parlor fees at a minimum, particularly in this economy.� Our savings account unfortunately is also at a minimum. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| As I'm sure your daughter has noted sometime or another, our chapter house is only air-conditioned on the second level. Can you image in this day and age?� This is why I am contacting you.� We are trying to raise money for the installation of an air conditioning unit for the living room in the chapter house.� We have been blessed that Larry McKown, father of Rebecca McKown (Vice President Membership), has made a donation for the installation of an air conditioning unit for the dining room and kitchen.� The unit has only been installed and running for approximately one week and the difference in those two rooms is amazing! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
