Teacher Models Asking a Question
PURPOSE
1.  Giving the students the exact model puts the words in the student's mouth.
2.  This is fine as a beginning step.
3.  The teacher will find it that he/she needs to do this with beginning, intermediate, and advanced speakers.
EXAMPLE
Teacher: Ji Young, ask Eun Ha, "Why is it important that the writer and reader share assumptions?"

Ji Young:  "Why is it important that the writer and reader share assumptions?"
