The Writing Process
1. Prewriting
    a.  Gathering ideas - brainstorming, webbing, freewriting, asking questions, research (reading, observing, interviewing)
    b.  Organizing ideas - graphic organizers
2. Drafting
3. Revising
   a.  Adding content
   b.  Removing (deleting) content
   c.  Moving (reorganizing) content
   d.  Substituting (changing) content
4. Conferencing
   a.  Discussing the writing with others
   b.  Asking for and considering feedback
   c.  Peer conferencing - peer review sheets
5. Editing: examining the piece for English accuracy
6. Publishing: sharing the writing piece with others as a finished product
