Wang Jin Hui, vice-chairman of Sinchi, hailed Jiang Tao as a sport martyr.

Wang Jin Hui believed Jiang Tao was hit because he was the tallest in the team at 1.88m thus sparing the other players.

He was regarded as a soldier, who died in battle & everybody regarded him a martyr.

Jiang Tao funeral wills he held according to Chinese customs & Jiang's parents, from Jilin Province, are expected to fly in tomorrow.

The Singapore Sports Council (SSC) said all stadiums in Singapore had lightning arrestors but they are not effective at the centre of the pitch, where Jiang was hit.

S-League CEO Chan King Fook claimed he would be discussing with the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) the possibility of installing lightning warning systems, which cost about $20,000 each, at all stadiums the S-league clubs are based in.

5 donation boxes will be set up during the 5 matches next week so that friends & sympathisers can donate money to Jiang's family.
