After just 1 match SAFFC is already written off as a title challenger by the fans & coach Jimmy Shoulder is not worried.

SAFFC coach Jimmy Shoulder is no stranger to pressure after 20 years in the game. The former Wales U21 manager has overcome countless managerial obstacles so don't expect him to start ringing the alarm bells yet.

As Shoulder prepared for the match against Balestier Khalsa tomorrow, he claimed a 2nd defeat would not constitute a crisis.

He stated that there are 25 matches to go after the Balestier Khalsa match & there are still many points to play for.

He claimed the public cannot expect the Warriors not to drop a single point during a campaign & in his career he has seem teams losing in the early part of their league campaign going on to win the title.

Still he is well aware of the detrimental effects defeats can have upon his players mentally.

He knows a good run can boost their confidence, morale and self-belief while a bad run will make improvement much more difficult.

With that, he is hoping to get the rub of the green & get a good result to get their league campaign on the road. He claimed the Warriors will just play their own game against the Tigers at Toa Payoh Stadium & he is not making special plans for the Tigers' highly-rated Korean quartet of Park Tae Won, Kim Chan Joong, Hea Sae Gyu and Lee Ho Sung.
