National coach Radojko Avramovic is delighted that the National team will be playing quality opponent in the forecoming 2 friendlies in January.

Since becoming National coach last year, Radojko Avramovic has always stress that Singapore players lacked the experience of having played at the highest level in International football

He felt this is the main reason why Singapore players could not concentrate for the full match & carried out his instructions. He had been disappointed Singapore always lost concentration at crucial point in a match & had paid the full price for it during the Asia Cup Qualifying Round.

That was why he has always demanded FAS organised quality opponent for the National team to par against as he acknowledge that Singapore cannot improved if they do not play against the best team the World can offer. He is hopefully that the experiences gained, from playing such established sides like Norway & Iran U23, will ensure Singapore profit from it during the World Cup qualifying Round.

Singapore is to play against India on February 18 at Goa (India) for the opening match of the World Cup qualifying Group 3.
