Ex-international Nazri Nasir, in the twilight of his career is now playing football on a part-time basis. The 33-year-old Tampines Rovers captain, who turned professional with the Lions in 1992, started work full-time as a car salesman in January.
He is working at Komoco Motors, thanks to an opportunity given to him by Stags chairman Teo Hock Seng, as he acknowledged professional footballers have a short career & he will need to think of his future.
He want to secure his future & prepare for his retirement from football
Still he insisted football is in his blood & even as he retire as a player, he hope to continue to be involved with football.
However he has not forgotten the foreseen future & it is to do well in 2004 with guiding the Stags to silverware the main focus.
