MediaCrop Channel NewsAsia (CNA) has won the exclusive rights to all S.League matches in a partnership with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS)

Mr Chan King Fook, Chief Executive Officer of S-League, stated CNA gives the S-league better branding profile in the market segment that the S.League is intending to attract to the games. Also CNA has done well in establishing a regional presence which fits in well with the concept of S-League as a regional league.

MediaCorp's Today newspaper will also publish match previews, in-depth analyses as well as commentaries besides showing matches on television and giving updates on radio.

Mr Shaun Seow, Chief Executive Officer of MediaCorp News, stated CNA are confident that the ratings will be a prime viewership & with profiling, that the MediaCorp channels can provide to S-League at this point in time, it will bring a lot more viewers to the games.

At the same time, the S-league have also decided to do a U-Turn on the Live telecast of matches after a meeting with the S-league clubs.

The idea to have Live telecast at only 4 home stadium (Jurong, Bishan, Jalan Besar & Choa Chu Kang) has been abandoned & the matches will be held at the club real home stadium instead.

The league committee & the clubs agreed the cost of transferring the match to 1 of the 4 home stadium do not make sense & fans of the clubs are also unwilling to make the trip.

Therefore it is decided it is better to have a stadium filled with fans cheering on the teams
