East Bengal cemented their position at the top of Group E with a victory over Negri Sembilan & open up a 3 point gap.
With East Bengal meeting Island FC in the next match & therefore expected to collect another 3 points, they will be expected to further strengthen their position on top of Group D with Negri Sembilan clashing against Geylang United.
The runner-spot look to be a tight battle between Negri Sembilan & Geylang United. Their fate could be decided over the next 2 matches they are scheduled to meet on April 7 & April 21
