Geylang United Noor Ali made a triumphant return to competitive football scoring twice to help Geylang United to an easy 5-0 win over the Maldives club Island FC in AFC Cup Group E clash.
Eagles' head coach Scott O'Donell was delighted with the result & was relived with the victory as the Eagles needed it to rekindle the Eagles hopes of qualifying for the quarter-final stage.
He was also glad Noor Ali was repaying the faith he had shown when the ex-international was suspended from the S-league after he was found guilty of breaking the S-league code of conduct.
He felt Noor Ali play well considering it was Noor Ali 1st competitive match & hopefully it is a sign of things to come from Noor Ali performance this season.
