Japanese club Albirex Niigata has decided to appoint Romanian Bogdan Brasovean, 38-years-old, as their new Manager.

Albirex Niigata felt that they needed a person who was familiar with the local situation to deal with the League & media. The manager can also help in ensuring the Japanese players will be able to settle in the new environment as he know the places where the players could go & relax in peace

Bogdan Brasovean had during his time in the S-league played for Tampines Rovers & Clement Khalsa (Player-coach). After he decided to retire from football, he became the manager for Clementi Khalsa & when the club decided to merge with Balestier Central to form Balestier Khalsa in 2003, he was appointed as the manager of the new club.

However he will now no longer be with Balestier Khalsa anymore as his contract has ended & he have decided to leave to take up a new challenge with Albirex Niigata.
