Singapore coach Radojko Avramovic has stated that there is no reason Singapore cannot expect a result from the India vs Singapore clash at Goa
He felt everything that is needed for a great atmosphere for football is there with the weather expected to be great, the stadium pitch in perfect condition & a capacity crowd expected at the stadium.
He also believes the experience gained when they played against Norway & Iran U23 will come in useful during the match.
When questioned about the Lions tendency to crack under pressure, the coach stated it should not be a problem. He has reminded his players, football is meant to be played in front of a crowd & if they are uncomfortable playing in front of a big crowd, they should not play football. The players have responded to it & have understood him.
He also felt too much attention had been given to India star striker Bhaichung Bhutia.
It is best to forget about India star striker Bhaichung Bhutia, he declared as the opposition would want Singapore to focus on Bhutia only & if Singapore do that, someone else will sneak in and score the goals
