Singapore skeptical media appeared to have been won over as they fall over themselves to report on Singapore hard-fought 4-3 victory over Myanmar in the Tiger Cup semi-final, first leg.

They are reporting that the 2004 side have much in common with the 1998 side in that it defied the odds & are now appearing to be on it way to the Tiger Cup Final either against Malaysia or Indonesia with Malaysia hold a slim 2-1 lead.

Certainly to them the current side is worthy of praises but how shockingly it is to this website as up to date the media reporting of the team is still at best average.

On the press side all seem to be forgotten, SPH papers had written off Singapore chances & were running article derailing Singapore throughout the year before the Tiger Cup while on the television media side the reporting is equally atrocious  with it unwilling to show Live any Singapore matches unless sponsors came forwards with money & making it worse is how unprepared their TV commentators are as they showed a lacked on knowledge on the Tiger Cup & Singapore facts.

As for the general public certainly support is also raising on supporting the Lions & this have lead to some die-hard supporters derailing such supporters http://www.totalfootball.com.sg/news1jan2.htm

The skeptical fans are still around though but they are slowly being drown out by the outpouring of support of the Lions
