While Noh Alam Shah may be fit for the Myanmar clash in KL, 3 other key players - defender Baihakki Khaizan (ankle), forward Khairul Amri (groin) & midfielder Goh Tat Chuan (knee) - are all fighting to be fit for the clash & the reason is the Jalan Besar pitch.

It seem after the announcement that an artificial pitch was to be installed, SSC, owner of all the stadium in Singapore, have neglected the maintaining of the pitch as patches of hole was just filled with sand increasing the chances of players getting injured & making it impossible to train.

This was what happened as Baihakki twisted his ankle on the pitch while training.

He recalled he was making a turn when he was caught in the rough sand & he knew immediately he had twisted his ankle as he fell down in pain.

Now he is receiving intensive treatment on his ankle & is hopefully he will be able to make the match as having makes it so far, he does not want to miss out on helping the team to the final.
