Woodlands Wellington has a new apparel sponsor as Diadora had agreed to be it new apparel sponsor for 2005 season

It will be the third apparel sponsor for the ambitious Northern based S-league club as it former apparel sponsors include Lotto (1996 to 2003) & Kappa (2004).

In the history of the S-League, the Italian brand has sponsored a few clubs & these clubs were successful during the time of sponsorship by Diadora.

It sponsored Geylang United FC in 1996 & 1997 when the Eagles were S-league & FA Champion in 1996 while the Eagles reached the 1997 League Final. Diadora then became the apparel sponsor for Home United FC from 2000 onwards. During this period, Home were the Singapore Cup winners in 2000 & 2001, & in 2003, the Home Protectors won the League and Cup Double. This year, Home went all the way to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup semi-finals & were nominated Club Team of the Year.
