The mood in
To some in
the media & public the current achievement of a semi-final slot which is
looming is not good enough as thebrand of football dished
out is not attractive enough & the target of a semi-final is deemed too low.
While on the
other side they feel the team have done well as it was expected Vietnam as host
& Indonesia will go through from the group but now the team have proven all wrong.
To this website though some of the media & public will have to go
back to look at what they have written before the Tiger Cup even begun when it
was all doom for them & the target was too high but now with the target achieved
they claimed it is set too low & nothing to be proud of.
Also one should played to our strength & it is not
surprising the only time we won a international back in 1998 we did just that
with defensive football 7 if asked this website he will gladly take that as
with a small population it is much better for Singapore to play defensive
football especially in the modern era where the defence
usually decide the champion
