With the result of the Indonesia-Vietnam match turning out to be in Singapore favour & now the Republic is standing on the threshold of reaching the semi-finals of the Tiger Cup for only the second time in the tournament’s history, head coach Raddojko Avramovic has called for 100 per cent commitment from his players when they take on Laos at the My Dinh National Stadium.

He acknowledged it is a good situation for Singapore but we must take each game one step at a time.

Afterall only a victory over Laos followed by a similar victory against Cambodia, considered the 2 weakest sides in the Group A, will ensure the 1998 Tiger Cup champions at least a second place finish in Group A to qualify for the semi-final.

That is why he cautioned against expectations among the players who are celebrating the results & that we must fully focus on the Laos game as it is in Singapore’s hands now.

For him if we show full concentration & commitment like the beginning of the tournament when we took it one game at a time by being focus first against Vietnam & then the next game [against Indonesia] & then now [against Laos] we will get the result we need.

There is why he had already cautioned his players do take the game & our opponents seriously for if we do no then we will get punished.
