In rather disappointing fashion the Republic fans are already out in force in claiming the Tiger Cup is over as they believed host Vietnam & Indonesia will play to a draw to knock Singapore out on goal difference.

This is further reflected in the Singapore Pools odds which saw the payout for a draw plunging downwards.

The skeptical fans are decrying Singapore style of play as boring & unattractive & Singapore is getting it just rewards but such fans (Or if one can called them that) have forgotten thus far the Republic is still unbeaten in the Tiger Cup & thanks to the strengthening of our strength which is the defence, our last 3 defeats in the last 9 matches had come against top class opponents - Oman, UAE & Japan.  

Also those 3 defeats were by slim margins with the match against Oman by a 2 goals margin while both defeats against UAE & Japan were by 1 goal.

Adding to that, the match between Vietnam & Indonesia had not been played out so to claim the Republic is going is ridiculous in the eye of this website.
