The Tigers who have up to now been quiet on the transfer front compare with other S-league clubs have make their moves with signings for 2005.

However the overall signings thus far is not encouraging for the Tigers who are into their third season in the S-league since they were formed from the merger of 2 clubs – Balestier Central & Clementi Khalsa.

In the goalkeeping department with the Tigers releasing their regular No 1 Bashir Khan & his reserve Zulkifli Zainolabidin, they had went back for their ex-custodian Rizal Rahman, 25, who was himself released from Home United.

For the back, the Tigers have signed from the NFL, defender Bah Mamadou, 25, who is a Singapore PR but is considered a foreign player under S-League rules. Bah Mamadou had played in the S-league before with stints at Gombak United in 2002 & Balestier Khalsa in 2003 but in 2004 as he failed to secure a contract with any other S-league clubs he had to drop into the NFL ranks. He was with NFL Sembawang SC who finished disappointing in mid-table in the NFL Div 1.

In midfield, Japanese Akihiro Nakamura, 27, is signed from Albirex Niigata as well as local boy Ronald Kesavan, 25, from the Rams. Upfront they went for Young Lions striker Ram Shanker, 19.
