A drab 0-0 draw against Hong Kong in the Tiger International Festival at Jalan Besar exposed Singapore weakness before the Tiger Cup.

First there was the non-existent attack as once in front of goal, chances after chances were wasted by the frontmen of Agu, Indra & Alam Shah.

Not helping is the midfield which had been National coach Radojko Avramovic main concern beforehand & they proved that with passes misplaced & individual battles lost.

Only the defence & keeper stood out showing that it could well be Singapore saving grace in the Tiger Cup as it had surely shown it is among the best in the ASEAN region but with the midfield & attack in such conditions, it is a worry with the Tiger Cup looming.

To that Avramovic said Singapore created enough chances to win the game. We should have scored in the opening 25 minutes but could not & that is a problem. We can not go on missing like that & we will put in one or two soon.

Also at the same time he admitted the final pass is missing from the Lions as that is a lack of a playmaker in the squad.

However he believed the Lions would get it right at the Tiger Cup.
