Singapore international & Home United defender S.Subramani has delayed his retirement from the Singapore National team until the end of Singapore campaign in the Tiger Cup.

A member of the 1998 Tiger Cup winning team, S.Subramani had wanted to retire after the Oman game but now as the Singapore backline is still lacking in experience, the defender agreed with National coach Raddy to retire after the Tiger Cup.

Raddy is pleased the defender is available for selection for the Tiger Cup as the Serbo-Montenegrin believed with S.Subramani experience at the back, Singapore backline would be tough to break down in the Tiger Cup.

Also in the meantime, Raddy will also continue the search for S.Subramani replacement for the future.

With his being his last Tiger Cup, S.Subramani said he is delighted the National coach still believed in him & he will repay that faith by ensuring the Lions is crowned as Tiger Cup champion at the end of the campaign.
