Double champion Stags are celebrating after Cubs utility player Farisal
Basri have re-joined for them for the 2005 campaign
Farisal Basri
was a Stags Prime league player who was called up into the Young Lions squad
for the 2004 season but now as he is 23-year-old, which is over the Under-23 age
limit the Cubs have set, they had to release him.
However he certainly owned a debt of gratuities
to the Young Lions, for in his time with the Cubs he had blossomed putting in
impressive performances as well as scoring 5 S-league goals in the process
earning much praises & no less from National coach Raddy
who had called him up into the National team but have yet to give him his debut.
