Amidst their tussle for 2002 S-league Player of the Year Therdsak Chaiman, both uniform Kingpins Home United & SAFFC make
great strides in their claim for the S-league crown in 2005.
The Protectors have signed keeper Ridzuan
Fatah Hassan from the outgoing
Tanjong Pagar United & striker
Fadzuhasny Juraimi from Young
Lions while bringing out of retirement keeper Amos Boon.
Ridzuan Fatah
Hassan will be expected to be the No 1 keeper for the
Protectors but will be kept on his toe by Amos Boon who in his days at Dolphins
show he is capable of matching the best in the league. For striker Fadzuhasny Juraimi, he will have
his hand full in trying to braking up the Egmar-Indra
strike partnership with their impressive strike rate over the last 3 seasons.
For the Warriors they make their 10th
& newest signing Noor Ali from the Eagles. Once
news broke out of Noor Ali transfer request, it was
expected especially with the noise the Warriors were making.
The Warriors now have an impressive
frontline consisting of Noor Ali, Ashrin
Shariff & Aleksander Duric for their
2005 campaign & goals will certainly not be in short supply if all of them
hit the right form.
