Home United thrashed Happy Valley 5-1 to get their AFC Cup campaign off the road & at the same time confirmed their tag as 1 of the team likely to challenge in the AFC Cup.
Ex-Singapore international Emgar Goncalves had hit a hat-trick to help complete this remarkable feat. His partner in attack Indra Sahdan also grab 1 for himself while last season Player of the Year Peres De Oliveira also got in on the act.
With Negri Sembilan 6-0 victory over another Maldives Island FC yesterday, Perak completed the Malaysia teams double over Maldives teams with a 2-0 victory over Valencia with last season Perak top hitman Frank Seator netting twice.
With the results, Home United lead the Group D Table ahead of Perak on goal difference.
