To further strengthen what is their main weakness for 2004 which is their goalkeeper department, Home United, apart from looking at ex-Jaguars keeper Ridzuan Fatah Hassan, is also looking to lure ex-Dolphins keeper Amos Boon out of retirement.

The ex-Dolphins keeper had make his name with great performance at the Hougang-based club but with Dolphins out of the S-league in 2004 he was also forced to retire as he could not find another club who would accommodate with his personal demands.

However with a year out of action questions must be asked of his abilities for players who was out of the game for a while had found it hard to return to the game as shown with Noor Ali, Ali Irman Lomri & Sasi Kumar. Also his commitment to the game is in questioned for he would never have taken the step to retire if he had really wished to make a living out of playing football.
