Ambitious Woodlands Wellington is aiming for the 2005 S-league title with new key signings.

Their defence which was their Achilles Heels will see the arrival of Singapore International defender Daniel Bennett to strengthen it. In midfield, the Rams have signed Tigers midfielder Sazali Salleh & Warriors midfielder Gusta Guzarishah.

But it had been upfront that the Rams had been most impressive as they managed to sign Tigers top scorer Park Tae Won (10 goals) as well as Warriors second top scorer Jonathon Angelucci (13 goals). It would be interesting to note how this striking partnership would work out.

The Rams had also added 2 new foreigners, defender Jamie Fullerton, 22, from Chesterfield & midfielder Mark Williams, 30, from Barnet as they released their remaining 3 foreigners - Park Kung Guy, John Wilkinson & Kim Eun Cher.

Apart from the new signings, the Rams had also managed to retain Singapore International players like keeper Yazid Yasin, defender Jaslee Hatta, midfielder Ahmad Latiff, Goh Tat Chuan & striker Masrezwan Masturi, ensuring a strong 2005 Rams squad that looked capable of challenging for the title.
